June "Summer Shindig" Luncheon
Features "Adopt-A-Cop" Ceremony
Tuesday, June 18/11:30 a.m.--1 p.m.
$10 members/$13 non-members
Southside Community Center will officially adopt Jake Willard, our local Neighborhood Resource Officer, during a ceremony at the June luncheon in front of members and guests that will include Traci Meidl, captain of the Spokane Police Department's south precinct that includes the South Hill.
NRO officers work with neighborhood volunteers, residents, school officials and merchants to address problems that concern them in their respective neighborhoods. Join the festivities to meet Jake and some other captains, lieutenants and detectives from the Spokane Police Department's south precinct.
Enjoy a delicious meal that will be a collaboration of Center chefs/cooks, Melinda Kresek, Terry Skeesick and Carol Gabel who will be making their favorite dishes that includes broccoli salad, roasted potatoes and dump cake to accompany the beef tri-tip prepared by Hungry Hound. Seats will fill fast for this special event! RSVP by June 14 to guarantee your seat.

 This is Spokane's best dog party, and the free event celebrates dogs and the people who love them.

Ballroom Dance--All are Invited

 Come listen to music, visit with friends, watch the dancers or dance if the music moves you. You can also enjoy the no-host bar at this bi-,pothly ballroom dance. All proceeds support the Center.
 

Last Tuesday Potluck is on Summer Break
There will be no Last Tuesday Potlucks in June or July. The events returns on August 27.
