Quick Facts About the Center
  • Established August 1985.
  • Our mission is to enhance the physical and mental well-being of those we serve by providing social, recreational, educational and volunteer opportunities for seniors and the community.
  • Raised $2.2 million for a new building located at 27th and Ray, and moved in on January 1, 2002.
  • Current membership: nearly 800.
  • Dues are $50 per year for individuals and $75 for couples.
  • Open to the community – you don't have to be a member to participate in our programs and activities. More than 1,500 people use the Center each month.
  • The Center's ballroom with a floating dance floor and meeting rooms are available for rent by community members for special events and meetings.

Activities                           
  • Everything from aerobics to mahjong, clogging to Texas Hold 'em and table tennis to Zumba.
  • We partner with the Institute for Extended Learning, ACT 2 – Spokane Community College Senior Programs and Spokane Parks and Recreation to provide a variety of classes and activities.
  • In 2015, we offered more than 70 Extended Learning programs per month with an average of 30 people per class.
  • We coordinate countless day trips, overnight excursions and extended travel opportunities for hundreds of participants.
